GETTING THERE

By car

Open 24 hours a day, the Arts Centre Melbourne car park entrance is accessible from 4 Sturt Street.
In the interests of our visitors safety, Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park is now a cash free facility. Please ensure you have a valid credit or debit card to pay for your parking. Road construction works are completed.
Vehicles approaching Sturt Street from St Kilda Rd/Linlithgow Avenue can no longer turn right from Southbank Boulevard into Sturt Street. Access to the Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park from Southbank Boulevard is now via a right hand turn into Kavanagh Street.
All cars exiting the Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park onto Southbank Boulevard now have to turn left.

By train

Get off at Flinders Street Station in the Melbourne CBD and walk for a few minutes along St Kilda Road, over Princes Bridge and the Yarra River.

By tram

Trams that stop in front of Arts Centre Melbourne, “Arts Precinct” stop number 14: 1, 3, 3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and 72.
This tram stop is fully accessible for people who use wheelchairs. Visit the PTV website to find out if your tram route has low floor trams.

By bike

Bicycle lanes run north and south along St Kilda Road. On-street bicycle hoops are available outside Hamer Hall and the Theatres Building (under the Spire). For more on-street bicycle hoop locations, visit City of Melbourne’s website on bike parking.
